SEOUL-produsen kendaraan dari Korea Selatan, Kia, merilis gambar Sportage, SUV kompak baru yang akan muncul di Geneva Motor Show Maret 2010 pada masa depan. Membawa konsep crossover kompak, Kia Sportage 2011 akan segera dipasarkan ke sulurh dunia tahun ini.

Peter Schreyer, seorang desainer Audi mantan yang memimpin proyek Sportage terbaru, kata Sportage baru memiliki model wajah seragam baru Kia keluarga. Menurut terbaru egois Sportage aura Soul, CADENZA sedan dan SUV Sorento.

"New Sportage memiliki rasa Eropa," kata Peter.

Sportage yang memiliki lima pintu membawa platform yang sama dengan Hyundai Tucson terbaru di Eropa akan disebut sebagai ix35. Pada tahun 2011 Sportage dimensi lebih panjang dan lebih lebar dari model-model sebelumnya. Dengan penambahan ruang dimensi ini diakui lebih banyak dan lebih luas kabin.
