2011 Nissan LEAF Exclusively On Electric Power

Nissan LEAF is a tremendous accomplishment - one in which all Nissan employees can take great pride," said Nissan President and CEO Carlos Ghosn. "We have been working tirelessly to make this day a reality - the unveiling of a real-world car that has zero - not simply reduced - emissions. It's the first step in what is sure to be an exciting journey - for people all over the world, for Nissan and for the industry."

Key characteristics of the Nissan LEAF include:
Zero-emission power train and platform
  • Affordable pricing
  • Distinctive design
  • Real-world range autonomy - 160km (100 miles)
The "LEAF" name is a significant statement about the car itself. Just as leaves purify the air in nature, so Nissan LEAF purifies mobility by taking emissions out of the driving experience. However, the company expects the car to be competitively priced in the range of a well-equipped C-segment vehicle. Additionally, Nissan LEAF is expected to qualify for an array of significant local, regional and national tax breaks and incentives in markets around the world. As an added benefit, because the vehicle has less mechanical complexity than a traditional gasoline-powered car, Nissan LEAF is designed to be friendly to the wallet as well as to the environment.

2011 Nissan Leaf is a pure electric car first offered for sale to the U.S. mass market. This 5-passenger, 4-door hatchback runs exclusively on electric power. The leaves come in two trim levels, base SV and uplevel SL. All use a 107-horsepower electric motor and lithium-ion battery. Nissan claims a maximum driving range of 100 miles. Leaves charging port can accommodate a 110-volt household outlet or 220-volt. It takes about 20 hours to charge from 110-volt outlet. Using a special station at home 220-volt charging, fully charged takes about 8 hours. SL models are available with port "quick charge" that can charge to 80 percent capacity in 30 minutes. The leaves come only with single-speed transmission that functions like automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, and curtain side airbags. A navigation system is standard on all. SL model has a rearview camera and a small roof mounted solar panels, which provide cost drip into 12-volt batteries that power accessory items, such as the climate system.

The engineers and designers behind Nissan LEAF worked to create a competitively priced real-world car that would enable Nissan to lead mobility into the zero-emission era. To ensure comfort, spaciousness and cargo capacity, Nissan LEAF employs a completely new chassis and body layout.

"Our car had to be the world's first, medium-size, practical EV that motorists could afford and would want to use every day. And that's what we've created. The styling will identify not only Nissan LEAF but also the owner as a participant in the new era of zero-emission mobility," said Masato INOUE, Product Chief Designer.

Nissan LEAF's frontal styling is characterized by a sharp, upright V-shaped design featuring long, up-slanting light-emitting diode (LED) headlights that employ a blue internal reflective design that announces, "This car is special." But the headlights do more than make a statement. They are also designed to cleverly split and redirect airflow away from the door mirrors, thus reducing wind noise and drag. And, the headlights provide yet one more benefit in that they consume just 10 percent of the electricity of conventional lamps, which helps Nissan LEAF to achieve its world-class range autonomy.

Through bright trim colors inside, Nissan LEAF creates a pleasing and stylish cabin environment. An environmentally friendly "blue earth" color theme originates from the Aqua Globe body color of Nissan LEAF's introductory model. This theme is carried into the interior through blue dashboard highlights and instrument illumination.

Zero-emission mobility programs under the banner of the Renault-Nissan Alliance include partnerships with countries such as the UK and Portugal, local governments in the Japan and the USA, and other sectors, for a total of nearly 30 partnerships worldwide.

In these partnerships major efforts focus on three areas:

* Development of a comprehensive charging infrastructure through public and private investment,
* Incentives and subsidies from local, regional, and national governments, and
* Public education on the individual and societal benefits of zero-emissions mobility.

2011 Nissan March New Model

Nissan introduced a new global compact car in Geneva. In Europe, this car will replace the Micra, the popular entry-level car that we did not get here. This car is sold as March in Japan. This is the company's first model to be developed on the new V platform. What makes the special V light platform, which should translate to better performance and fuel economy of the current Micra / March.

One thing about Japanese society is where new cars are built. The Micra / March has been built at Nissan's Japanese factories since it was introduced, but this new car will be built at Nissan's factory in Thailand.

"No need to worry about it," said one person in the Nissan. "There are few cars sold here in Japan are made in Thailand, and no problems with them."

The new entry-level Nissan will be supported by a 95-bhp 1.2-liter inline-4 mated with CVT transmission. Because the car is expected to weigh around 2100 pounds, the new Micra / March should be relatively quick. The car will come in the form of 5-door hatchback, sedan version may come later.

Small rounded body design, fuel efficient, and various security features, Nissan March has everything what it needs from a city car. Especially easy to drive on narrow roads and looking for parking plus a smooth and comfortable control.

Models of stylish, easy to get people to see. Unique exterior design with a long wheelbase, the wheels look in every corner of the vehicle. It is also believed to participate to improve maneuverability.

In terms of comfort, given the European version in March and the parking space sensor measurement (PSM) recently with three skill levels (amateur, normal and cunning). A unique feature to overcome when parking in tight and this seems to be a popular innovation in Europe.

variants from Europe will get the derivative of the engine, designated HR12DDR. This is the Miller-cycle engine injection directly to the supercharger that automatically turned off at a lower speed to conserve fuel. The three cylinder 1.2-liter equipped with idling-stop system and is designed to emit ultra-low 95 g / km of CO2, while providing equivalent power to the engine 1.5-liter normally aspirated four-cylinder. jau-carmodification.blogspot.com

Nissan Sunny

Nissan Sunny
Nissan Sunny
Nissan SunnyTaking center stage and making its world debut at the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition, is Nissan's all-new global small sedan, which will be locally marketed as the Sunny. According to the Japanese automaker, the new small sedan will go on sale first in China in January 2011 and then progressively across 170 countries worldwide under different vehicle brand names.

Even though Nissan's Spartan press release did not mention the Versa, there are one too many styling similarities between the new Sunny and the 2012 Versa sedan teased in an official sketch released by the automaker in October 2010. However, we have to stress the fact that Nissan has not made a connection between the two cars.

The Sunny, or as Nissan likes to call it, the firm's new global sedan, is believed to be based on the underpinnings of the Micra supermini, something that could explain the striking resemblance of the dashboard design.

Among the few details released about the car is that in China, it will be offered with Nissan's 1.5-liter HR15DE four-cylinder engine linked to Xtronic CVT, and that engineers have fitted the Sunny with MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam for the rear suspension.

Nissan Frontier Navara 4x4

Nissan Frontier Navara 4x4Nissan Navara is a worldwide phenomenon and Nissan's decision to begin making Nissan Navara in Thailand has send waves of joy in our customer base. And why not - Europe's best selling pickup with Ricke performance, styling and interior can now be acquired at a much lower price thanks to Mark Motors' rock-bottom prices.

It has been the top seller in Europe for sometime now but now South Africa leading pickup magazine "Bakkie & Truck Action magazine" has declared Nissan Navara 2.5 DCI 4x4 as the Best Bakkie for 2007. European magazines are not far behind in extolling Navara - the Nissan Navara has been voted the ‘Pick-Up of the Year’ for the second year running in 4x4 magazine's 2007 awards. Rick Carroll, 4x4’s editor, commented. The Navara is simply the best. The reasons are simple: Nissan’s Navara provides the best combination of working truck practicality with everyday driving involvement. A strong, torquey turbodiesel, bold but not outlandish styling and a comfy interior scored higher than its rivals can match.

Nissan Frontier Navara 4x4Nissan’s Navara was the best-selling pick-up in Ireland, UK and Europe in 2006. It commanded an incredible 25 per cent of the European market for pick-ups. Navara unseated pickup segment leader Isuzu Dmax in 2006 and claimed 41.2% percent of the market relegating DMax to a distant second. Mitsubishi Triton's recent introduction may change the market dynamics even further. These figures do not include the impact Mark and Mark Motors had in the market by exporting Vigoes and Triton to the Emerald Isle.

In addition to the stunning Irish performance, the Navara is the best-selling pick up in markets such as Spain, France, Holland, Austria, Belgium, Poland, and Sweden.

Since its launch in June 2005 more than 60,000 European customers have found in Navara the perfect tool to work hard and play hard. By offering SUV levels of comfort, space and on-road dynamic performance for civilised weekend motoring, combined with super-tough characteristics for a hard-working Monday-Friday lifestyle, the Navara has given customers the option of owning a pick up which doesn’t compromise their daily lives.

The combination of SUV qualities and pick up utility offered by the Navara has raised the stakes in this competitive segment. It is therefore no surprise that orders have begun poring in from the UK and the Southern African region and the Caribbean region is not far behind. From early signs, Navara promises to be another Vigo. Vigo had caused similar customer interest worldwide as Navara has now.
