New Renault Wind 2011,Photos And Review

There is a need in Europe for a small convertible that can function as an everyday car, both for the drivers themselves or for couples without children. Renault saw no reason why the freedom associated with the automotive wind-in-thehair segment should be the exclusive reserve the higher-end. Instead, customers are quite young (or young at heart!), interested in the signal plot and sporty roadsters and look for visible eye-catching, and the model that is practical enough to serve as an everyday car.

To meet this need, it is necessary to produce a coupé-roadster with a design, a unique and striking looks sporty, but without making concessions relating to the features that appear to go hand-inhand with a sense of true freedom:
  • A strong smart, easy to use open-roof mechanisms that provide real wind-in-hair-thrills,
  • Very practical car, with boot space is consistent whether the top is up or down,
  • Compact dimensions and nimble handling are ideal for driving in and around the city,
  • Fun, punchy dynamics combined with low fuel consumption,
  • Low-set driving position and layout of the sporty to the control,
  • An exceptional equipment and package specifications for the price.
When it comes to this type of car, style exterior is a major factor in purchasing decisions. Therefore, to attract the market, Renault Wind design needed to be dynamic and strong, and clearly modern. Viewed from the side, sporty Renault Wind, strong lines, sharp hat-earned, high waist, wide hips sculpture and an integral roll hoop immediately strikes the eye. Both roof-cover is located in the slipstream head cowls located roadster features distinctive and form a natural relationship between interior and exterior.

Work on the windshield-header rail, which sits at the forward position is much more than the convertible rival, enhance the pleasure associated with auto open-up and further into the basic beliefs Renault Wind roadster. The rear wing combine distinctive part of the boot lid, while the boomerang-shaped rear lamps provide lighting easily identifiable signature.

Expertise of the Renault Sport Technologies (RST) when it comes to automotive pleasure requires no introduction, and Renault Wind has vast benefits from the knowledge of engineers RST's. Staff at the engineering headquarters RST in Les Ulis, near Paris, France, in collaboration with teams from nearby Technocentre in Guyancourt to ensure that the Renault Wind fully benefit from the expertise of the best companies. The new coupé-roadster platform capitalizes on the strengths of two Clio RS is very suitable for the power output of two engines available for the Renault Wind, the TCE 100 and 1.6 16V 133hp. Know-how to engineer the RST allows them to achieve the best weight / body stiffness ratio for roadster-coupé, Renault Wind allows owners to benefit from a pleasant trip combined with low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Besides returning a fuel consumption of engine size, this powerplant offers vigorously than 1.4 power output and torque of the 1.6-liter powerplant. It is equipped with a low inertia that ensures minimal turbo lag thanks to the fitment of small diameter turbine and compressor. Maximum power is 100hp (74kW) at 5500 rpm, while peak torque of 152Nm (3500 rpm).

The combination of small capacity of 100 cubic TCE and low inertia turbo ensures responsive pick-up from low revs, with peak torque available at very low engine speeds and at wide rev band. This includes feature turbochargers 'boost-over' that temporarily increases the power output and torque (by 5hp and 6Nm respectively) in second gear, third and fourth on the engine speed over 4,500 rpm. For added character, and the extra punch and response, TCE 100 engine drives through a short gearbox ratio five-speed manual (JH3).

The combination of TCE 100 engine's cubic capacity of the smaller and the technology is employed to maximize the enjoyment of driving, but combined cycle fuel consumption stands at only 6.3 litres/100km (equivalent to 145g of CO2/km). Renault Wind TCE 100 accelerates from stop to 100kph in just 10.5 seconds. 1.6 16V 133hp: engine, normally-aspirated with a flexible bag characters

Renault Wind is an alternative available to the Renault Sport Technologies-developed powerplant normally-aspirated 1.6 16V, especially field-tuned that serves as a direct pointer to the character of his fire.

This flexible, high-revving, normally-aspirated 1.6 16V engine produces 133hp (98kW) at 6750 rpm and maximum torque of 160Nm at 4400 rpm. It revs quickly and crackers all the way up to the red line set at 7000 rpm.

With the engine under the bonnet, Renault Wind gives a lot of punch and enjoyment of driving at low engine speeds and while up to 4500 rpm, although it really comes into its own when pushed beyond the limit of 4500 rpm. Wind Renault 1.6 16V accelerates from stop to 100kph just 9.2 seconds and has a top speed of 201kph, yet fuel consumption has been there at 7 litres/100km (equivalent to CO2 emissions of 165g/km).

Plug & Music connectivity permits occupants to plug digital devices such as iPod®, iPhone®, USB keys and other USB-compatible MP3 players into Renault Wind's own audio. This system enables occupants to enjoy music stored on a portable player and allows them to scroll through menus using the steering column-mounted or radio fascia controls. Directory, file and tune names are shown on the separate display.

Renault DeZir- the future of mark Renault

autostream.blogspot.com

Renault DeZir. So called the new big red coupe fromRenault. Frenchmen speak at once: to count that the similar car will go to a batch production, it is not necessary. It's a concept car. But concept with sense – DeZir is created to show us, in which direction design of Renault will develop in future time.

When you look on DeZir from time to time involuntarily you remember … Mazda. Please don't think that i accuse Renault in plagiarism. Anything similar, appearance new concept is original and very interesting. But there are some nuances. The first – Mazda too has more recently shown the concept coupe which precisely also shows the future development in design of the company. Second nuance – Renault DeZir was created by Laurens van den Acker, which else more recently worked in company Mazda.

Perhaps, the main feature new concept are doors. And still it is necessary to notice that DeZir at all has no rear screen – according to designers, in the future at movement the review will be provided with videocameras.

If you expect that DeZir is equipped with any magnificent engine you are cruelly be mistaken. In this car there is a small electromotor which capacity gives out 110 watt and actuates rear wheels . According to Renaults details, the maximum speed of the big coupe only 180 km/h, and a cruising range doesn't exceed 160 km. In general, anything record.

After the extravagant and contradictory Vel Satis, now before us is a car with a classic contemporary look, called Renault Latitude.
European sales will begin early next year. The car has front-wheel drive and front suspension of the Renault Laguna, a rear of the Nissan. Renault will bet in this model primarily turbodiesel engine - 2.0 dCi with two versions of the Power 110 and 127 kW, and 3.0 V6 dCi, which offers a maximum power of 177 kW and maximum torque of 450 Nm.
There is also a petrol engine - 2.0 16V with output of 103 kW, which will operate in addition to gasoline, also with bio-fuel E85.
Latitude and some systems use the more expensive Japanese models Nissan and Infiniti. For example, air ionizer, multimedia system, audio Bose. Interestingly, European markets are not the first objective of the new model of Renault. It seems the biggest effect will be held in Asia.

2010 Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupe Monaco GP Limited Edition

Following its unveiling at last month's 2010 Geneva Motor Show, the new Monaco GP limited edition version of Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupé is due to hit the French market this month when it goes on display at the Coupé-Cabriolet & SUV Motor Show in Paris. The newcomer's fluid, elegant lines are emphasized by its stunning, sporty styling which features a black roof, black exterior mirror housings and 'black shadow' wheels which contrast with the Sports Car's striking pearlescent white finish.
2010 Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupe Monaco GP
Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupé Monaco GP's performance credentials match its looks, too, thanks to its exclusive 4Control chassis with four-wheel steering which is standard equipment, as well as a range of particularly efficient powerplants. Its equipment specification places the accent on motoring enjoyment and travelling comfort with an exciting package of hi-tech, safety and comfort refinements. Designed and manufactured in France, Renault Laguna Coupé Monaco GP ranks among the best Sports Cars in its class for quality and stands out as a flagship for Renault's highend range. Two years after the first public appearance of Laguna Sports Car Coupé round Monaco's legendary race track, this limited edition version – the run of which is restricted to just 400 units – celebrates the long-standing partnership that exists between the brand and the Automobile Club de Monaco.
Available with a choice of four DPF-equipped diesel powertrains (dCi 150 with either sixspeed manual or automatic transmission, dCi 180 with six-speed manual gearbox or 3.0 V6 dCi 235 with six-speed automatic transmission) and one petrol engine (3.5 V6 240 with six-speed automatic transmission). Its 4Control chassis with four-wheel steering delivers exclusive driving pleasure, plus outstanding handling and active safety performance.
Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupé, which has emerged as the uncontested leader in its class in France thanks to the unfettered motoring enjoyment it delivers, celebrates the second anniversary of its first public appearance round Monaco's famous Grand Prix circuit in May 2008 with the release of an exclusive Monaco GP limited edition version. In addition to the elegant, uncluttered lines of this high-end Sports Car coupé's exterior, Laguna Sports Car Coupé's performance package also ensures unprecedented yet reassuring driving thrills.
Laguna Sports Car Coupé Monaco GP in association with a wide choice of engines. This groundbreaking innovation attracts customers who seek to benefit from the advantages of four-wheel steering. The nimble handling provided by the 4Control chassis both in built-up areas and on twisty roads out of town is worthy of that of a small city car (it has the same turning circle as a Clio). At the same time, the system guarantees exceptional stability, plus the road holding ability of a sporting car, not to mention unrivalled safety, e.g. when taking avoiding action or when braking in difficult conditions (asymmetric grip on slippery surfaces, optimized ESC calibration).
All the available diesel engines are equipped with a particulate filter and comply with Euro5 legislation. They are available with a manual gearbox or automatic transmission to combine driving enjoyment with efficient and responsive sports cars performance:
- The affordable and economical dCi 150 (110kW) is acclaimed for its dynamic performance. Mated to the six-speed manual gearbox, it returns appreciably low combined cycle fuel consumption of just 5.7 litres/100km (equivalent to CO2 emissions of 149g/km). Versions with six-speed automatic transmission combine punch and response, yet remain very affordable.
- The sportier, more powerful and torquier dCi 180 (131kW) powerplant stands out as a surprisingly attractive compromise for its class. With 400Nm of torque available from as low as 2,000rpm, it accelerates crisply and smoothly, and contributes to the impeccable directional stability of the 4Control chassis. Even so, its combined cycle fuel consumption remains contained at 6.2 litres/100km (163g of CO2/km).

- The top end of the range naturally features the 3.0 V6 dCi 235 which drives through a six-speed automatic transmission. This three-litre block (2,993cc) stands out as a benchmark in terms of its dynamic performance, driving pleasure and silent ride. Peak power is 235hp (173kW), while maximum torque stands at 450Nm. Thanks to these vital statistics, Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupé V6 dCi 235 accelerates from standstill to 100kph in 7.3 seconds, yet its combined cycle fuel consumption does not exceed 7.2 litres/100km (189g of CO2/km). Special attention has been paid, too, to its acoustic performance: in addition to its silence at normal speeds, a perceptible bark when accelerating and during transient phases irresistibly suggests performance.
The 240-horsepower (175kW) 3.5 V6 petrol engine delivers maximum torque of 330Nm at 4,400rpm. It drives through the same six-speed automatic transmission as the V6 diesel and covers the 1,000-metre standing start in 27.6 seconds. Although an ideal match for Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupé's dynamic credentials, its combined cycle fuel consumption is just 9.9 litres/100km (230g of CO2/km).
Renault Laguna Sports Car Coupé Monaco GP will be available at Renault dealers in June, with prices starting from €38,800. Order books open early-Mai. Ordering for the latest addition to the Laguna Coupé range is open now, ahead of deliveries in July. Production for the white hot limited edition ends in September.
